As part of the department’s scientific activities, and under the direct supervision of the Head of the Surveying Engineering Department, Professor Dr. Maytham Mutasher, a free training course was held in cooperation with the Continuing Education Unit and the Rehabilitation and Employment Division, titled “Introduction to Surveying Engineering Plans”. The course took place on February 13, 2025, in the Photogrammetry Laboratory Hall.
The course was delivered by:
- Lecturer Omar Ali
- Lecturer Lama Khalid Jassim
- Lecturer Raghad Hadi Hassan
- Assistant Lecturer Mohammed Rahman Faleh
The course was attended by several specialized professors and interested students. It lasted two hours per day and aimed to introduce students to the basic concepts related to engineering plans used in surveying.
Course topics included:
- Fundamentals of Engineering Plans:
Understanding different types of engineering plans and their importance in the design and implementation of engineering projects.
- Geodetic Surveying:
