On Monday, February 24, 2025, the Department of Architecture at the University of Baghdad organized a scientific field visit for second-year students to the International Community School (ICS) and the Chinese School Project affiliated with the Ministry of Education. The visit aimed to provide students with insights into the architectural and structural design and execution of both schools, as well as the design approaches used in their construction.
This visit aligns with the department’s efforts to enhance students’ skills and enrich their practical knowledge, particularly in school design, which is a key component of the second-year curriculum. It also offers students an opportunity to explore real-world architectural and construction practices, inspiring them to maximize their efforts throughout their academic journey.
The visit was conducted as part of the Architectural Design course requirements for second-year students, reinforcing their practical knowledge and broadening their perspectives in the fields of architecture and design.
