As part of its ongoing efforts to develop technical skills and maintain scientific infrastructure, the Department of Electrical Engineering at the College of Engineering, University of Baghdad, organized a specialized workshop on Sunday, December 14, 2025, entitled “Preventive Maintenance in Electrical Engineering Laboratories.”
The workshop witnessed active participation from a group of faculty members, engineers and technicians, where modern protocols for the maintenance of specialized equipment were reviewed to ensure its continuity and efficient performance. A brief and in-depth explanation was provided of the engineering abbreviations and warning and guidance signs installed on the equipment, which raises the level of occupational safety.
The workshop was more than just a dry academic meeting; it was characterized by a spirit of cooperation and camaraderie among the attendees. Interactive participation, engaging competitions, and a sense of humor added a lively touch, helping to break the ice and fostering the exchange of experiences between different generations of department staff.
This step reflects the Electrical Engineering Department’s commitment to integrating theoretical knowledge with practical application in a positive and stimulating work environment.
