The Department of Electrical Engineering at the College of Engineering, University of Baghdad, organized a specialized workshop on Wednesday, 26 November 2025, focusing on the mechanism for calculating performance evaluation points for academic staff, as well as technical and administrative personnel in the department for the academic year 2024–2025.

The workshop was delivered by Dr. Ammar Falah, Head of the Performance Quality Committee in the department, in the presence of the Head of the Department, Prof. Dr. Firas Mohammed Tu’ma, along with several faculty members and administrative and technical staff.

The workshop aimed to clarify the adopted standards and the detailed steps of the annual performance evaluation process, ensuring transparency and fairness in calculating points according to the regulations of the university and the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

The lecturer emphasized adherence to official standards to maintain transparency and fairness in the evaluation process, stressing the importance of motivating academic and administrative staff to improve their academic and administrative performance, while continuously monitoring results to enhance the department’s efficiency and productivity.

This workshop is part of the Department of Electrical Engineering’s efforts to promote a culture of objective performance assessment, elevate administrative and academic efficiency, and contribute to the development of the educational process and the achievement of academic excellence within the department and the university.
