The Dean of the College of Engineering at the University of Baghdad, Prof. Ghassan Hamid Abdul-Majid, received on Tuesday, November 26, 2025, the authorized director of Forsan Al-Jawda Company for Training and Human Resource Development, Mr. Mohammed Al-Allaf. The meeting was attended by Prof. Ziyad Tariq Abdul Ali, Associate Dean for Scientific Affairs and Graduate Studies, Asst. Prof. Iman Qasim, Director of the Quality Assurance and Performance Evaluation Division, and Asst. Prof. Haider Mohammed from the Environmental Engineering Department.
The meeting discussed mechanisms for implementing the ISO 9001 Quality Management System across the departments of the College of Engineering, within the framework of the quality committees adopted by the college, in a way that contributes to enhancing academic and administrative performance in accordance with international standards.
It is noteworthy that Forsan Al-Jawda Company has more than six years of experience in quality management systems and holds international authorization from British and American accreditation bodies to operate in Iraq and the Kurdistan Region. It is also considered one of the specialized companies supporting institutions in obtaining quality certifications from reputable international organizations, in addition to providing consultancy services and training programs for industrial and academic institutions.
