As part of its ongoing efforts to raise the academic and research standards of postgraduate students, the Department of Chemical Engineering at the College of Engineering – University of Baghdad organized a series of scientific seminars over two days, Sunday and Monday, October 26–27, 2025.
The sessions were attended by Prof. Dr. Rasha Habib Salman, Head of the Department, along with a number of faculty members. During the seminars, postgraduate students presented research progress reports highlighting their scientific methods and preliminary findings, followed by constructive discussions that encouraged the exchange of ideas and valuable academic feedback.
These seminars aim to develop students’ presentation and academic discussion skills, enhance their research capabilities, and overcome challenges faced during the preparation of their theses and dissertations.
Prof. Dr. Rasha Habib Salman emphasized that such activities form a core foundation for stimulating scientific creativity among students and broadening their research horizons, thereby contributing to the development of the academic environment within the department and reinforcing a solid culture of scientific research at the University of Baghdad.
