Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Engineering, Prof. Dr. Ghassan Hamid Abdul Majid, and the supervision of the Head of the Environmental Engineering Department, Prof. Dr. Iyad Abdul Hamza Faisal, the department hosted a welcome ceremony for first-year students on Monday, November 25, 2024, in Mahdi Hantoush Hall.
The event began with welcoming speeches from the Head of the Department and several faculty members, followed by a presentation on the Bologna Process registration system delivered by Asst. Prof. Dr. Hussein Jabbar. Students were introduced to the curriculum and encouraged to strive for excellence in their academic journey.
Representatives from senior classes also shared their experiences, extended their support, and warmly welcomed the newcomers, fostering a sense of community and collaboration within the department.
