Tree Planting Campaign in the Electrical Engineering Department

Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Engineering, Professor Dr. Ghassan H. Abdul-Majeed, and the Rehabilitation and Employment Unit at the College of Engineering, in cooperation with the Rehabilitation, Employment and Follow-up Division at the University of Baghdad, and under the direct supervision of the Head of the Department of Electrical Engineering, Professor Dr. Firas Mohammed Tuaimah, the Department of Electrical Engineering at the College of Engineering organized a voluntary tree planting and cleaning campaign for the department’s garden on Sunday, 17^th Nov. 2024. This event witnessed the participation of students and professors of the department, as they worked side by side to plant different types of seedlings and perennial trees, which contributes to increasing the green spaces and areas on the university campus in order to provide a healthy and beautiful green environment.
