The Department of Water Resources Engineering at the College of Engineering, University of Baghdad, organized a volunteer campaign to plant flowers in the college gardens, with the participation of the department’s professors, staff, and students. The campaign was carried out in line with the directives of the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Ghassan Hamid Abdul Majid, and under the direct supervision of the department head, Professor Dr. Basim Shabaa Abed.
The aim of the campaign was to promote and encourage volunteer work among students, as well as to provide an opportunity for collaboration between the faculty, staff, and students in volunteer activities. Planting flowers in the front gardens of the department helps expand the college’s green space, enhancing the overall atmosphere and adding beauty to the environment through garden maintenance. The department head expressed his gratitude and appreciation to all participants in the volunteer campaign.
