The Dean of the College of Engineering the honorable Prof. Dr. Ghassan Hamid Abdel Majeed and Mrs. Head of the Energy Engineering Department, Prof. Nibal Fadel Farman welcomed a team from the Center for Renewable Energy and Environment from the Industrial Research and Development Authority of the Ministry of Industry and Minerals to cooperate with the Department of Energy Engineering. The team met with Mr. Dean of the College of Engineering and Mrs. Head of the Department of Energy Engineering and many professors in the department to discuss the prospects for scientific cooperation between the Authority and the Department of Energy Engineering.
The Dean welcomed the visit, with the head of the energy-engineering professors in the department expressing their desire to conduct joint research, especially in the field of renewable energy. The two parties agreed to exchange visits to review the scientific possibilities of equipment, laboratories, and research projects, and cooperate in presenting joint research projects. For his part, the Dean of the College of Engineering suggested that participation Many researchers on the electronic platform that the College of Engineering is working on to review modern technology, exchange scientific ideas with researchers from inside and outside Iraq, and cooperate in producing applied scientific research, in addition to the possibility of evaluating and publishing research through the Authority’s magazine, and cooperating in organizing a workshop on the environment and renewable energy.
