Department of Electrical Engineering received a delegation from Al-Ayn Social Care Foundation on Monday 25th April 2022 to introduce this foundation which was established in 2006 and which is one of the NGOs in Iraq registered with the NGOs Directorate affiliated with the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers.
Mr. Waleed Khaled from Al-Ayn Social Care Foundation delivered a presentation through which he introduced the audience to the history, vision and goals of the foundation. He also talked about the achievements of the foundation and shared with the audience humanitarian stories of families that the foundation helped to preserve their dignity and humanity.
The presentation was attended by Dr. Dheya Jassem Kadhem Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs and Higher Studies, Dr. Fathi Al-Shamaa, Chairperson of Mechanical Engineering, Dr. Hanan Michael, Chairperson of Electrical Engineering Department, a number of faculty members and staff of the department in addition to students.
The audience interacted with the presentation given by Mr. Waleed Khaled about Al-Ayn Social Care Foundation and praised the efforts of the foundation.
