On Tuesday, November 14, 2023, Dr. #Ghassan_Hameed_Abd_almajeed , the Dean of the College of Engineering, visited the #Architectural_Products_Exhibition for the students of the Architecture Department on the occasion of Entrepreneurship Day. He was welcomed by the department head and the scientific committee chair. The nature of the students’ projects over the past five years and the scientific research results for postgraduate studies were reviewed. The Dean praised the department’s collaborative scientific activities with counterpart departments in Arab and international universities, emphasizing the importance of developing such scientific and cultural initiatives.
Furthermore, the Dean highlighted the necessity of aligning graduation projects with the needs of the job market and real-world projects. He emphasized the importance of creating a suitable educational environment within the scientific departments and external spaces to stimulate students’ scientific interaction and engagement. This aligns with the ministry’s directives to enhance students’ active participation within universities.
