Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Engineering, Prof. Dr. Ghassan Hamid Abdul-Majeed, and under the supervision of the Head of the Department of Chemical Engineering, Prof. Dr. Rasha Habib Salman, the department held a scientific, cultural, and charitable bazaar under the slogan “Towards a society that rises through knowledge and flourishes through humanity.” The proceeds were dedicated to supporting the Zuhour Al-Alawiya Girls’ Home. This event was part of the plan of the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit and within an initiative aimed at integrating academic activity with social responsibility.
The bazaar, held on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, witnessed wide attendance from faculty members and students. The open areas in front of the department’s classrooms hosted a variety of activities and projects, including artistic displays and handmade works that reflected students’ creativity and skills, alongside cultural and scientific contributions aimed at spreading knowledge and enhancing awareness within the university campus.
