Coinciding with the start of the first-semester examinations for postgraduate students, the Director of the Department of Scientific Affairs at the University of Baghdad, Professor Dr. Hussein Qasim Hussein, inspected the examination process at the College of Engineering on Tuesday, December 23, 2025. He was received by the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs and Postgraduate Studies, Professor Dr. Ziyad Tareq Abdul Ali.
The visit aimed to monitor the progress of the examination process, identify any obstacles, and work toward addressing them. During the tour, Dr. Hussein reviewed the conduct of examinations across the engineering departments, the extent of students’ compliance with examination regulations, as well as the readiness of examination halls and the accompanying logistical services.
The Director of Scientific Affairs praised the efforts exerted by the academic and administrative staff in providing an appropriate examination environment that ensures fairness and equal opportunities for students. He also emphasized the University’s commitment to the quality of education and to providing the best possible academic conditions for its students.
