As part of supporting academic progress and enhancing scientific output, Assistant Lecturer Ahmed Tawfiq Mustafa, a faculty member in the Department of Aeronautical Engineering at the College of Engineering – University of Baghdad, has published a new book titled “International Air Law for Aeronautical Engineers,” issued by Al-Dar Al-Jamiah Publishing House in 2025.
The book consists of 187 pages divided into six main chapters, covering specialized scientific topics, most notably: history and development, recent advancements, international and local organizations, civil aviation laws and standards, aircraft registration, and airworthiness.
The aim of the book is to provide aeronautical engineering students, researchers, and interested readers with the essential legal knowledge related to civil aviation and its international regulations. It seeks to enhance understanding of the legislative and regulatory framework governing this vital sector and to prepare engineering professionals capable of meeting air safety requirements in line with international standards.
