Under the patronage of the esteemed Dean of the College of Engineering, Professor Dr. Ghassan Hamid Abdul Majid, and the supervision of the respected Head of the Chemical Engineering Department, Assistant Professor Dr. Rasha Habib Salman, the Department of Chemical Engineering organized a charity exhibition and bazaar titled “From Baghdad to Jerusalem: A Love Without Borders” on Thursday, February 6, 2025, in the halls of the Chemical Engineering Department. The exhibition was prepared and monitored by Dr. Ghassoun Abdul Muhammad.
The event was attended by the Dean of the College of Engineering, several heads of scientific departments, and faculty members, along with significant participation and support from the faculty, staff, and students of the Chemical Engineering Department. This exhibition aligns with the university’s approach and philosophy in promoting voluntary activities carried out by scientific departments through various events that enhance students’ personalities, making this humanitarian and social aspect complementary to their academic and scientific knowledge.
The organization of this bazaar reflects a spirit of responsibility and awareness towards the community to improve the social reality in Iraq and promote love and cooperation among all. The proceeds from the bazaar are designated for one of the government care homes.
