Under the guidance of the Prime Minister and the sponsorship of the Dean of the College of Engineering at the University of Baghdad, the Department of Chemical Engineering at the University of Baghdad celebrated Iraqi Victory Day on Thursday, December 12, 2024, recalling the victory over the terrorist ISIS gangs. The head of the department, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rasha Habib Salman, delivered a speech praising the sacrifices and heroism of our brave security forces in defending Iraq and its land. The celebration included speeches from faculty members and a student speech delivered by student Haidar Bashir, with participation from the faculty, staff, and students of the department.
This occasion underscores the role of Iraqis and their love and belonging to every inch of their land, reinforcing values of belonging and patriotism, and commemorating the cherished memory that symbolizes the unity and solidarity of the Iraqi people in confronting terrorism and achieving victory.
