The Department of Computer Engineering in the College of Engineering received first-stage students by holding a meeting with the students in the department’s meeting hall, headed by the Head of the Department (Assistant Professor Dr. Firas Ali Saber) and the members of the First Stage Reception Committee on Tuesday 19-11-2024 , with the attendance of the new students. The meeting included a welcoming speech to the students by the Head of the Department and the Undergraduate Studies Rapporteur, and then introducing them to some of the academic requirements. The students were also urged to work hard and excel in their studies and an explanation was provided of the importance of the field of computer engineering in the labor market. Then the study materials and the Bologna track were introduced, which aims to improve the quality of education at the University of Baghdad and its benefits for students in their professional and academic future.
