As part of the scientific activities at the University of Baghdad’s Aeronautical Engineering Department, two workshops were held on Sunday, October 13, 2024, in the Smart Hall, under the sponsorship of the Dean of the College of Engineering and in the presence of several department professors.
The first workshop, titled “Ways to Inoculate University Youth Against the Dangers and Risks of Drugs,” was presented by Assistant Prof. Hiba Muayad Mohammed, Director of the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit. This session focused on strategies to protect university students from drug abuse, raise awareness of its dangers, and promote informed decision-making. Key recommendations included increasing public awareness, reinforcing family and university roles in prevention, and encouraging cooperation between relevant entities to combat drug risks.
The second workshop, “Management of the Bologna Process System – E-learning System,” was presented by Assistant Lecturers Rasha Hassan Abbas and Ahmed Tawfiq Mustafa. It provided detailed insights into the Bologna Process system, including faculty data management, student attendance recording, and evaluation methods. The session also addressed challenges faced during the system’s implementation and offered solutions for improvement. The workshop highlighted the benefits of the Bologna Process, aiming to enhance communication and the quality of education between faculty and students.
