In line with the aspirations of the Deanship of the College of Engineering to focus on publishing solid and qualitative scientific research within international indexed and activating the directives of the University of Baghdad to shed light on everything that contributes to raising the status of the scientific institution globally, the lecturer (Prof. Manal Fadhel Younis) in the College of Engineering – Department of Computer Engineering at the University of Baghdad published a scientific research in the international journal entitled:
“Enhancing Cloud Resource Management Based on Intelligent System”
The study aimed to provide a smart way to manage cloud resources without delay or hassle. The research focused on managing cloud resources without delay or hassle. Starting with designing a system based on a genetic algorithm (GA) as a computational tool to achieve the goal and plan for a predictive request, then relying on the periodic algorithm (RR) to allocate requests for processing. The results of the study showed high improvement in the characteristics of the proposed system over other existing works.
