The Department of Computer Engineering at the University of Baghdad, under the auspices of the Deanship of the College of Engineering, held a workshop entitled:

“An Introduction to Microsoft Teams”

It was delivered by Assistant Lecturer “Hussein Ali Hussein” on May 15, 2024, at exactly ten thirty in the morning, in the discussion room in the department, in the presence of the Head of the Department, (Assist. lecture. Firas Ali Saber), in addition to a number of Teaching department. The workshop included a discussion of Microsoft Teams, as it is a collaboration platform developed by Microsoft, and is designed to facilitate communication and teamwork within organizations. It combines chat in the workplace, video meetings, file storage, and application integration. The aim of the symposium was to point out the importance of these programs and how to use them and benefit from them at the present time in state departments and educational institutions. The symposium came up with a number of recommendations, the most important of which are:

1- The importance of providing new methods for teaching and learning, such as video conferences, by using discreet and reliable distance learning and business management platforms such as the Microsoft Teams platform.

2- Activate the platform in an official manner and the necessity of creating a private email for all members of the institution to be managed.

3- The importance of constant communication with employees and continuous follow-up of work requirements by managers through the use of these programs.

4- Providing an educational environment full of diverse knowledge and experiences to improve cooperation between teaching staff and students, which leads to more effective educational cooperation.

5- Providing feedback between the teacher and students through modern programs, thus enhancing the effectiveness of the teaching and learning process and the importance of delivering study materials and information with great speed and accuracy without regard to place and time.
