The second-year students in the Department of Computer Engineering at the College of Engineering/University of Baghdad organized a stand in solidarity with American university students who are protesting and in solidarity with Gaza and the Palestinian cause, as part of a series of student demonstrations denouncing the Israeli aggression. A number of the department’s students and teachers participated in the protest. The students gave a speech in which they expressed their rejection of the Israeli war and their endeavor and support to provide assistance and aid by all means and opportunities available to the people of Palestine. They also stressed the boycott of the occupation intellectually, culturally and economically in solidarity with the Palestinian people
