The Department of Architecture Engineering, in collaboration with the Continuing Education Unit at the College of Engineering, University of Baghdad, organized a scientific workshop titled: “Utilizing Building Information Modeling in Sustainable Design.” This workshop took place on Sunday, October 8, 2023. During the event, sustainability was defined and its significance in the field of architecture was elaborated upon. The focus was on the benefits of utilizing Building Information Modeling (BIM) in achieving sustainability goals. Practical applications were presented to illustrate how BIM can be leveraged to attain sustainability objectives in design and construction projects.
