In a joint collaboration between the “Lama Khair” volunteer team and the University of Baghdad’s College of Engineering, Department of Aerospace Engineering, an awareness lecture was held on medical conditions in aviation and the safety of passengers and flight crews. The lecture included a simple explanation of the most important changes that occur in the human body at high altitudes, along with an overview of some common medical conditions. The importance of medical examinations for flight crews was also emphasized.
The seminar took place on Tuesday, October 17, 2023, in the smart hall of the Aerospace Engineering Department at the University of Baghdad. The attendees benefited from the informative lecture, which contributes to raising awareness about the importance of healthcare and safety in the aviation industry.
