The Council of the College of Engineering at the University of Baghdad held its ninth session for the academic year 2025–2026 on Wednesday morning, February 11, 2026. The meeting was chaired by Professor Dr. Ghassan Hamid Abdul Majeed, Dean of the College, and attended by the Assistant Deans and Heads of the Scientific Departments.
During the session, the Council discussed several matters related to student affairs, reviewed the results of the comprehensive examination for postgraduate studies, and explored ways to advance the educational process and enhance academic performance in line with the approved plans.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the Council listened to the remarks and proposals of the Heads of the Scientific Departments, emphasizing the adoption of the necessary measures to ensure the continued efficiency of academic and administrative work in a manner that fulfills the objectives of the College and the University.
