Within the framework of enhancing media cooperation and developing institutional communication mechanisms, the College of Engineering at the University of Baghdad received, on Sunday, 28 December 2025, the Director of the Media and Government Communication Department at the University Presidency, Dr. Harith Mohammed, during a field visit aimed at supporting the College’s media efforts and improving the level of coverage and publication.
He was received by the Dean of the College of Engineering at the University of Baghdad, Professor Dr. Ghassan Hamid Abdul Majeed, accompanied by the Head of the Media Division, Assistant Lecturer Rasha Hussein.
During the meeting, ways to support the College’s media activities and develop publishing and media coverage methods were discussed, in addition to reviewing government communication programs and mechanisms to enhance the presence of the University and its colleges on digital platforms and social media, in line with the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
Both sides emphasized the importance of strengthening joint coordination and unifying media discourse, in a manner that contributes to highlighting the scientific and research achievements of the College of Engineering, and shedding light on its academic activities and its role in the fields of innovation and technology.
