The College of Engineering at the University of Baghdad celebrated its graduates as part of the university’s 68th central commencement ceremony, held under the slogan “Excellence and Creativity.” The event took place on Saturday, November 1, 2025, in the gardens of the College of Physical Education, with the presence of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, along with several university presidents, academic and security leaders, and the families of the graduates.

The ceremony featured the academic procession of graduates, who proudly filled the venue in their academic gowns, carrying the flags of their respective colleges, in an atmosphere full of pride and joy celebrating their academic achievements throughout their years of study. Official speeches highlighted the pioneering role of the University of Baghdad as the “mother university,” which has continuously contributed to the development of the nation through generations of scientific and professional talents who have played vital roles in progress and nation-building.

The event concluded with the honoring of top students from both morning and evening studies by the Minister of Higher Education, in a festive scene filled with happiness and pride reflected on the faces of the graduates and their families.

Faculty members of the College of Engineering expressed their heartfelt congratulations to their students, wishing them a bright future filled with success and achievement, and encouraging them to continue striving for innovation, creativity, and active contribution to the development of society.
