About the Department

The master’s program was introduced in 1987 and the doctoral program in 1992, initially specializing in nuclear engineering. The first batch of master’s graduates was in 1990 with 7 students, while the first doctoral graduates were in 1997 with 2 students. The master’s program in Energy Engineering was introduced in 2014 and continues in the department to this day.
