Programming Laboratory
The Programming Laboratory is dedicated to training undergraduate students in the basics of the Windows operating system, office software, and engineering-specific programs such as AutoCAD and MATLAB. Additionally, hours are allocated for final-year students to train on software relevant to their specializations.
Hydraulics Laboratory
The Hydraulics Laboratory serves the needs of both undergraduate and graduate students. It is equipped with devices for conducting basic experiments in fluid mechanics, pumps, open channels, pipes, and measurement devices. Additionally, it includes movable open channels used for graduate-level experiments in hydraulics.
Soil Laboratory
The Soil Laboratory specializes in conducting experiments for undergraduates in the areas of soil and water properties, monitoring changes in their general and physical characteristics, and controlling these changes. This includes studying soil composition, water flow, salt washing, and determining the quality of irrigation water. It also assists graduate students with research-related testing in water resources. The laboratory is equipped with modern devices and systems tailored to these specializations.
Water Quality Laboratory
The Water Quality Laboratory was established to provide opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students to gain knowledge through the analysis of various water samples in the Department of Water Resources Engineering. The laboratory significantly enhances the capacity to test surface water, groundwater, industrial wastewater, and sewage water according to internationally recognized standards. It also offers specialized training courses based on analytical mechanisms performed in the laboratory and model methods for water testing.
Surveying Laboratory
The Surveying Laboratory aims to prepare engineers capable of performing surveying tasks using globally advanced surveying instruments. Students receive comprehensive field experiments that meet most requirements for engineers specialized in surveying.
