On Monday, December 23, 2024, the Department of Water Resources Engineering organized a discussion session as part of its weekly series to follow up on and discuss the thesis work of postgraduate (master’s) students. The session was attended by the respected Head of the Department, Professor Dr. Bassim Shabe Abdul, along with the scientific committee, the faculty members supervising the students, and several other department faculty members.
The aim of the session was to monitor the progress of the theses and highlight any issues or obstacles students might face during their research. The discussions were marked by fruitful contributions from the department’s professors regarding the presented theses. The professors emphasized the importance of adhering to scientific standards in writing the theses, while also stressing the need to consider the suggestions and comments raised during the session. At the end of the meeting, they wished the master’s students success in their academic journey.
