Under the support of Prof. Ghassan Hameed, Dean of the College of Engineering, and with direct supervision from the chair of the Water Resources Engineering Department Prof. Bassim Shaba, the Student Activities Committee organised the first charity bazaar on Wednesday, 4/12/2024, in the corridors of the College of Engineering, University of Baghdad. The bazaar featured the works and creations of students, as well as contributions from department members, with proceeds going to the elderly care home run by Mr. Hisham Al-Zahabi.
The event was inaugurated by the Dean of the College in the presence of several department chairs, faculty members, and staff. The Dean praised the efforts in organising the bazaar and extended his gratitude to the participating students and staff for their support and contributions to the success of the event.
