In order to maintain communication with graduates of Department of Petroleum Engineering and in order to keep pace with developments in all fields of petroleum engineering technologies and communicate with international oil companies in Iraq, the Department of Petroleum Engineering at the University of Baghdad hosted Eng. Ibrahim Hassan Abdulhadi on Tuesday, April 12, 2022. The guest gave a valuable lecture on the latest drilling techniques for directional wells and the most important problems and modern technical solutions available to address these problems that may accompany drilling operations in the Iraqi oil fields. The lecture was attended by the Head of the Petroleum Engineering Department, Dr. Ghanem M Farman, and a number of the department’s faculty members and third-year students. At the end of the lecture, the Head of the Petroleum Engineering Department, Dr. Ghanem M Farman, presented a certificate of appreciation to Engineer Ibrahim Hassan Abdulhadi, in appreciation of accepting the invitation and honoring his efforts in presenting the lecture.
