A delegation representing China Oilfield Services COSL visited the Department of Petroleum Engineering at the College of Engineering, University of Baghdad, on Monday morning 15/5/2023, and the delegation was received by a group of distinguished professors of the department.
The Chinese delegation was headed by Deputy General Manager Iraq Branch Mr. Huang Xian, Director of Human Resources Department Ms. Liu Jing, Business Manager Ms. Zheng Xiaoting with the company’s Human Resources Coordinator Mr. Ahmed Karim Jassim. They discussed ways of joint cooperation, especially in the field of training students, as well as accommodating graduates, conducting research to solve problems in the oil fields, and using the company’s laboratories to conduct experiments for graduate students. A previous memorandum of understanding between the company and the Presidency of the University of Baghdad will be activated to serve the scientific march of the university, the College of Engineering and the Department of Petroleum Engineering.
