The Continuing Education Unit at the College of Engineering successfully concluded the “Analysis and Design of Structures Using Revit and Robot within the BIM Environment – Level 2” course, which ran from January 27 to February 6, 2025. The course was led by Prof. Dr. Salah Rahima, who delivered both theoretical and practical lectures for four hours daily over two weeks, in addition to hands-on computer-based exercises.
The course was attended by eleven engineers from Misan Oil Company and four engineers from the Gas Filling and Services Company. It aimed to enhance engineers’ skills in using Revit and Robot within the Building Information Modeling (BIM) environment, with a focus on advanced structural analysis and design applications. The training program covered modern software techniques to improve engineering project performance and efficiency.
At the end of the course, Ahmed Kazem, Director of the Continuing Education Unit, presented certificates to the participants, commending their dedication to skill development. He also emphasized the importance of Revit software in civil engineering and reaffirmed the College of Engineering’s commitment to organizing such courses to enhance professional competencies and improve workforce capabilities.
