As a part of the scientific activities of the Department of Computer Engineering and in order to communicate with the rest of the Iraqi universities and enhance joint activity, the lecturer in the Department of Computer Engineering “Dr. Ahmed Obaid Salman” organized a scientific seminar entitled:
“Cyber Security: Between the Present and the Future”
In the Department of Computer Science / Middle East College in cooperation with the Computer and Internet Unit in the same college. The seminar was attended by a number of department heads, professors and students from various disciplines. The seminar included a comprehensive presentation of the concept of cybersecurity and its importance at the present time as a shield that protects the world connected to the Internet. The seminar aimed to present cybersecurity techniques and the most important challenges facing it in the era of information technology and then clarify its vital role in protecting private and public information in society.
