A total of 82 students participated, divided into two groups:
Group One: Thursday, November 28, 2024.
Group Two: Thursday, December 5, 2024.
Purpose of the Field Trip:
- To familiarize students with the nature of work in an oil field.
- To document information related to drilling and petroleum processing operations for application in academic studies.
Visit Details:
The students were accompanied by Dr. Farkad Ali and Assistant Lecturer Abdul Wahab during the trip.
The visit began with a concise and informative session on the petroleum processing procedures, highlighting the essential stages of these operations. Following that, the students were taken to the oil field area, where they had the opportunity to approach the drilling rig and learn about key instructions and safety precautions related to drilling operations. Additional technical details concerning oil field operations were also shared.
This visit aimed to enhance the students’ practical knowledge and link theoretical concepts to real-world applications in the oil sector.
