As part of the scientific activities of the Energy Engineering Department at the University of Baghdad, and under the patronage of Dr. Zeina, the department organized a scientific event titled “Solar Energy Tree” on October 19, 2024.
The activity focused on designing a symbolic structure that represents the department, incorporating elements that symbolize renewable and sustainable energy. The goal was to generate electricity through the use of solar energy, which is a renewable and inexhaustible source, aiming to reduce the environmental impact of traditional energy generation methods.
The tree was designed using solar panels to capture sunlight and convert it into electrical energy, offering a sustainable alternative to conventional power sources.
