The Computer Lab Team for undergraduate studies in the Department of Architecture at the University of Baghdad organized an educational event today for Second Year students, under the supervision of the course instructors and the head of the Computer and Artificial Intelligence Lab, Dr. Ahmed Khader. During the event, Virtual Reality (VR) headsets were used to provide a virtual experience aimed at enhancing students’ architectural understanding through the world of virtual simulation.
This technology offered students the opportunity to interact with three-dimensional environments simulating reality, which helped improve their comprehension of architectural designs and the details of the projects they are working on. It also allowed students to virtually explore architectural models, thereby enhancing their ability to apply design concepts to their future projects.
This event is part of the department’s ongoing efforts to adopt the latest technological tools to improve the quality of practical education and equip students with advanced technical skills that align with the job market demands in the field of architecture.
