The Department of Electronics and Communications Engineering at the University of Baghdad, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Unit, organized a seminar entitled (Artificial Intelligence in Our Lives) as part of the department’s scientific activities and under the supervision of the Head of the Department of Electronics and Communications Engineering, Assistant Professor Dr. Aqeel Nima Al-Maamouri. The seminar was given by Lecturer Zainab Nouri Ghanem on Tuesday 10/29/2024 at ten o’clock in the morning in the Continuing Education Unit Hall in the College of Engineering and in the presence of a number of professors and employees.
The most important objectives of the seminar are to learn about the applications of artificial intelligence in our lives and to learn about the most important technologies used in building artificial intelligence. The seminar also aimed to identify the challenges facing artificial intelligence.
The seminar concluded that artificial intelligence is a technology that aims to develop systems that can simulate human intelligence, such as learning, thinking, and problem solving. It is used in various fields such as voice assistants, self-driving cars, and data analysis, and includes ethical and privacy challenges, but artificial intelligence has great potential to improve our lives.
