On Thursday, May 30, 2024, the Dean of the College of Engineering, Prof. Dr. Ghassan Abdul AlMajid, met in his office with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dhirgham Alobaydi, Head of the Department, Prof. Dr. Bahjat R. Shaheen, Head of the Department of Architecture at Al-Farabi University, and Advisor Dr. Ali Al Attar, Head of the Baghdad Investment Authority.
The meeting discussed the role of external examiners from the professional consulting sector in graduation project discussion committees and their impact on enriching discussions to align with labor market requirements and engineering needs. The discussion also covered the evaluation of final outputs through the adoption of the Bologna System in the first stage and the possibility of objectively evaluating it to enhance the scientific journey and develop students’ skills in education.
