Students from the fourth class of the Department of Computer Engineering, namely Karar Haider Abdel Wahed and Malak Ahmed Khalil, participated in the graduation project for the final stages entitled “An introductory application for the centers of the University of Baghdad based on the smartphone and the QR code” under the supervision of Professor (A. Manal Fadel Younis) from the University of Baghdad / College of Engineering at the third scientific forum for distinguished graduation projects, which was held by Al-Mansour University College at the Al-Mansour Melia Hotel. This was on Thursday, April 24, 2024. The goal of the forum was to highlight the most prominent achievements of fourth-year students in their graduation projects and provide them with the opportunity to prove their mental and intellectual abilities and express their opinions in a scientific and practical way that enhances the student’s self-confidence in order to compete within the labor market and in a way that supports the achievement of sustainable development goals. It is worth noting that the Participating Students Project is an application that introduces foreign visitors, including students, professors, and other categories, to all the centers of the University of Baghdad (the university presidency and its departments, colleges and their departments, libraries, clubs, and other centers) using the mobile phone, through reading panels and interactive participation via quick scanning. QR code to facilitate access to these places.
