Under the patronage of the Head of the Mechanical Engineering Department, Asst.Prof.Dr. Kareem Hassan Ali, the Mechanical Engineering Department organized on Wednesday, March 27, 2024, a scientific visit for third-year students to Al-Faris General Company for Heavy Steel Industries, affiliated with the Ministry of Industry and Minerals. The students were accompanied by a group of department professors. They were received by a group of engineers from the company. The visit aims to learn about the most important industries producing heat exchangers, boilers, tanks, and water filtration units. The field visit also included most of the company’s departments. This visit comes within the efforts of the Deanship of the College to develop students’ skills, enrich their practical side, and acquaint them with actual fields of work, which will contribute to motivating them and exerting their maximum potential during their university studies.
