A field visit was organized for fifth-year architecture students, accompanied by their lecturers, to explore the heritage of Babylon and Babylon theater. This excursion provided an excellent opportunity for students to acquire knowledge about ancient architecture and history. Babylon was a prominent city in ancient Mesopotamia, known for its remarkable architectural feats, including the Hanging Gardens of Babylon, which was one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.
During the visit, the students examined the remnants of Babylon and learned about various architectural styles and techniques employed in constructing the city. Additionally, they visited the Babylon theater, which was a crucial cultural and entertainment hub in ancient times. The theater was renowned for its pioneering design and engineering, facilitating large-scale performances and events.
