As part of the ongoing collaboration between the Architectural Department at the Iraqi Engineers Syndicate and the Architecture Department at the University of Baghdad, a workshop titled ‘Architecture Between Mass and Space’ was recently conducted. Dr. Ammar Saleh Ashour prepared and presented the workshop, which attracted students and graduates from over 15 universities in Baghdad and surrounding provinces, totaling nearly 300 attendees.
The workshop delved into the pivotal relationship between mass and space in architecture, emphasizing the significance of spatial considerations. Dr. Ashour explored diverse thinking approaches regarding space and its global importance, providing analysis through local and international architectural examples. The event garnered sponsorship from the Engineers Syndicate, along with support from various architectural firms and associations.”
