With the participation of Assoc. Prof. Fawzia Arheem Hussein from the Department of Architecture, University of Baghdad, the Master’s thesis entitled “The Role of Building Regulations on Change of Housing Typologies: Houses built between 1950-2000 in Sulaimani City as a Case Study” was discussed. The thesis was authored by student Luqman Saber Ali under the supervision of Prof. Amjad Mohammed Ali Qardaghi. The discussion took place at the Department of Architecture, University of Sulaimani, on Thursday, February 29, 2024. The topic addresses the significance of building regulations in altering housing patterns in Sulaimani City during the specified period.
