Department of Petroleum Engineering organized a scientific trip to the Baghdad International Fair on Thursday 2/22/2024. This trip is a springboard for the principle of co-operation between State Departments and Facilities on the one hand and Scientific Institutions on the other hand, and it aims at providing appropriate opportunities for our students for field exploration. The trip is under the supervision of the following:
Asst. Lect. Enas Ajil, Lect. Dr. Rawia Adil, Eng. Zaid Qassim, and Miss Nawara.
The trip’s participants are 24 sophomores. The participants made a tour across the corridors of the fair and they had a look at the reference books. Also, they had visited the Ministry of Oil’s pavilion and most of the publishing houses located inside the fair, and headed to the place of the Ministry of Youth and Sports (MoYS), to benefit from the “Read” initiative sponsored by MoYS for the age group from 12-35 years to encourage them to read books. Ultimately, the participants expressed their thanks and gratitude to the head of the department and to the dean of the college for facilitating the trip.
