In a testament to the ongoing scientific collaboration between the University of Baghdad and other Iraqi institutions, the Architecture Department at Baghdad University, in conjunction with the Continuous Education Unit, joined hands with the Architecture Department at Al-Farahidi University to organize a highly successful workshop for first-year students. The event was warmly hosted by the faculty and staff of the Architecture Department at Baghdad University.

Dr. Amar Ashour inaugurated the workshop, extending a warm welcome to students and professors from Al-Farahidi University. He delivered an engaging scientific lecture on the topics of Formation and Abstraction in architecture, contributing significant scientific value to the workshop.

Lecturer Saad Muhson from the University of Al Nahrain followed with a detailed scientific lecture on the professional crafting of architectural models. This lecture provided participants with valuable skills and in-depth knowledge in the field.

The workshop also featured an intriguing competition, prefaced by an explanation of three global architectural examples by Instructors May Mohamed and Raya Aqil. Students were divided into groups and guided through practical work under the supervision of the teaching staff from both universities.

The event concluded with one of the groups receiving an appreciation award, creating an atmosphere of enthusiasm and excitement. The organizers were commended for their efforts in orchestrating a successful and stimulating educational event for first-year students in the field of architecture.
