The Department of Surveying Engineering organized a scientific excursion for first-stage students to the Iraqi National Museum, with a total of 25 students, on Wednesday, December 27, 2023.
The trip included a field visit to the museum, which displays collections and artifacts from the civilizations of Mesopotamia, Islamic artifacts in Iraq, and artifacts from the Stone Age. The museum is one of Iraq’s oldest, most important, and largest museums. The students expressed enthusiasm for this visit to learn about their country’s civilization up close. They were accompanied by a guide who explained the museum’s halls and different civilizations.
