The Computer Engineering Department at the College of Engineering received first-year students by holding a meeting with the students in the department’s committee room. The meeting was attended by the new students in the first stage, the head of the department, in addition to the department’s coordinators. The meeting included a speech by the Head of the Department and the coordinators. The new students were welcomed and encouraged to work hard and excel in their studies, and an explanation was given of the importance of the field of computer engineering in the labor market. The new students were also introduced to the academic subjects and the Bologna Path, which aims to improve the quality of education at the University of Baghdad and its benefits for students in their professional and academic future.
