The respected Head of the Department of Petroleum Engineering – University of Baghdad, A.M.D. (Ghanem Madih Farman), and the teaching staff received the new students admitted to the first stage, on Thursday 11/30/2023, and they were welcomed and congratulated on the start of the current academic year 2023-2024. They were introduced to the Department of Petroleum Engineering, its objectives, educational outcomes, and study subjects. The method of how the education system works according to the Bologna Process was also explained. The students were also guided about rights, duties, commitment, and discipline according to the regulations and laws of the Ministry of Higher Education.
The department staff made diligent efforts to prepare all possibilities to receive new students in the first stage to facilitate the process of starting and joining the department.
